Hello! I'm Paddy Lynch, a cartoonist, illustrator and graphic designer from Dublin, Ireland.

I like to make drawings and images that tell stories and communicate ideas.

Books and comics I have illustrated include: Big Jim (with Rory McConville 2013, the O'Brien Press), My Last Day at 17 (with Doug DuBois, 2015, Aperture Foundation) and my comics series Last Bus (Cardboard Press). I run the monthly Dublin Comic Jam, and publish other folks' zines and comics under the Cardboard Press imprint.

Let's work together!

Keith Moon

Posted by

Another illustration from the Drop-d site. Keith Moon, Moon the Loon. I spent the weekend watching The Who film The Kids Are Alright and took the drawings from several stills of a The Who performing “My Generation” sometime in the mid seventies. Now, a lot of The Who’s music I can take or leave, but trying to capture the beautiful, frenetic, kinetic, gleeful energy that Keith Moon brought to playing drums isn’t an easy challenge. What a performer. Three drawings in ink, colourised and overlaid in photoshop.
