NightMareClub3 Last month I got the chance to put together a sample for an upcoming childrens book series. The script had a real potent mix of comedy and horror so I pushed my style in a slightly more cartoony direction. Unfortunately the job didn't pan out, but as I still like the sample illustrations that I came up with, I thought I might share them with you here. Loads more images under the cut.

TKO Keystone EP Artwork A few months ago I worked on creating artwork for the upcoming "Keystone EP" by TKO. The whole process was very collaborative with the band having strong concepts for the imagery they wanted to use. There was a fair bit of back and forth before we settled on the final illustration and even then there were several reviews of the artwork but I think the whole project benefitted from the process. I've been living with finished artwork for a while now but when I got my copies of the physical cds there was a renewed burst of excitement. No matter how completely you think you've envisaged a project, nothing beats actually holding the physical object! Anyway, the artwork is going to be carried through to all their merchandise and  the album to follow with artwork picking up where the EP leaves off, so I'm looking forward to getting stuck into that in the near future. See the cut below for the imagery used in the packaging.

lecool bodytonic show le cool & Visual Feast 4th annual Bernard Shaw Xmas Exhibition. Once again I was asked to put something into the annual Bernard Shaw Xmas Exhibition. 50% of all sales will go to the Simon Community, so to that end I did a couple of small, silly colour ink drawings priced cheap enough that someone might actually buy one. If they don't sell over the course of the exhibition, they'll be available on this site in the new year. I always feel a bit funny putting stuff into shows like this alongside  real artists like Will St Ledger, Maser, Gaetan Billet and the like. Kind of feel like I'm blagging it and someone's going to pull the rug out under my feet any minute. Sure take a look at  my cartoons below the cut.
