Hello! I'm Paddy Lynch, a cartoonist, illustrator and graphic designer from Dublin, Ireland.

I like to make drawings and images that tell stories and communicate ideas.

Books and comics I have illustrated include: Big Jim (with Rory McConville 2013, the O'Brien Press), My Last Day at 17 (with Doug DuBois, 2015, Aperture Foundation) and my comics series Last Bus (Cardboard Press). I run the monthly Dublin Comic Jam, and publish other folks' zines and comics under the Cardboard Press imprint.

Let's work together!

Beginning the blog!

Big news is the completion of my first comic “Last Bus” which has swallowed up a large proportion of my spare time over the last 6 months or so. Thanks to everyone who encouraged this reckless behaviour. It’s twenty four black and white pages, with a two colour cover and has three stories inside dealing with such weighty themes as public transport, street violence, dream logic and absent friends. You can see some sample pages in the comics section.

Sooo… to celebrate all this malarky, I’m having a launch party! Its in the stags head, next wednesday the 4th June. From about 7.30pm. Come one, come all!
