Hello! I'm Paddy Lynch, a cartoonist, illustrator and graphic designer from Dublin, Ireland.

I like to make drawings and images that tell stories and communicate ideas.

Books and comics I have illustrated include: Big Jim (with Rory McConville 2013, the O'Brien Press), My Last Day at 17 (with Doug DuBois, 2015, Aperture Foundation) and my comics series Last Bus (Cardboard Press). I run the monthly Dublin Comic Jam, and publish other folks' zines and comics under the Cardboard Press imprint.

Let's work together!

2D 2013

I recently got my first invitation to appear at a comics festival as an actual bona fide guest and I see they’ve announced it officially on their facebook page.

The 2D Festival is a wonderful event that has been in existence since 2007 (I think). It’s based in the beautiful walled city of Derry/Londonderry in Northern Ireland and has consistently attracted top tier guests from the US, UK and of course Ireland (both North and South). Among the guests already announced for 2013, are such UK comics legends and stalwarts as Gary Leach and Mike McMahon who have been working in comics longer than I have been living and breathing.

David Campbell and his team at the Verbal Arts Centre have consistently put on a varied event that caters superbly to the local community as well as the wider comics audience in Northern Ireland and from all accounts the 2013 event is going to have an expanded and farther reaching programme than ever. Looking forward to it.
